Community Opportunities

Organizations frequently provide us information on community service opportunities in which they need some extra helping hands and Program Partner Events that are available to Girl Scouts.  Check out these opportunities where you and your troop may be able to help out or participate!

Upcoming or Ongoing Program Partner Opportunities

Girl Scout Ranger Program

National Park Service and Girl Scouts of the United States of America have partnered to create the Girl Scout Ranger Program. Girl Scouts are invited to participate in a variety of existing, organized educational or service projects at national park sites, or design their own experience or project to align with Journey work, badge activities, or a Take Action or Highest Award project.

The required ratio for a group is 1 adult to 5 youth (Anyone 18 or under is  a youth).  Pre-performance activity in Stieren Hall is 7:30 PM.  All performances start at 8:30 PM.  Your tickets will be sent to you late May/early June with a packet of information.

If you are looking for performances to which a larger number of adults may attend, we have a Family Nights program to enjoy specific, regular performances at special prices.  The cost is $15 for children 6 to 18 and $30 each for the first two adults and $50 for additional adults. Families must include at least one child. There is no limit to the number of adults.  Fill out this form and return to

Becoming a Program Partner

Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails partners with businesses, organizations, and content area experts to offer industry-leading programming. If your business or organization is looking for a way to connect with girls and give back to your community, consider partnering with us! We’re looking for regional experts who are excited to offer programmatic opportunities to our girls and families.

Are you a good partnership fit?

Ideal program partners share our values and offer at least one of the following:

  • Exclusive Girl Scout-only programming or opportunities, and/or
  • Programming in one of Girl Scouts’ focus areas (STEM, Entrepreneurship, Life Skills, Creative Arts, Outdoors), and/or
  • Programming that allow girls to earn a Girl Scout Award or Badge.  Click here to view our awards and badges to find those that will be a good fit, and/or
  • Discounts and/or financial support toward girl-led, girl-only experiences.

If your organization is a good fit, we’ll work with you to either coordinate a local event, spread the word about special discounts, or tailor programming to your expertise.

Program partnerships that help girls earn Girl Scout badges and awards are particularly valuable.
