This is all about our favorite time of the day- SNACK TIME! While you normally are told NOT to play with your food, at camp we encourage it! Make “dirt cups” and other yummy and sticky treats. Meet the camp chef and get tips from the experts. Create a food painting masterpiece! Go hiking, make crafts and participate in outdoor adventures as well.
This session is for our first time campers interested in horses. Learn the basics of horse safety, grooming, handling and feeding. Saddle up and enjoy a staff-led horse ride in the arena. This is the first step in becoming a true cowgirl! Venture outside of the horse arena and spend time doing arts and crafts, participating in a cookout or taking a hike. You will leave wanting more horses and camp.
Whether you want to paint, tie-dye, make candles, finger knit, or design jewelry, decide where you want your creativity to take you. Hike out and get creative in nature. Draw and write to the sounds of the birds and river rushing by. Find inspiration from wildlife. You will have a busy week and end it with our Rancho Art show to display how awesome your creations are!
E2: English Equestrienne
In this advanced-beginner level riding program you will continue to learning about horse care and safety while exploring the world of English-style tack and technique! You will also have a chance to participate in traditional camp activities like arts and crafts, nature exploration, archery, songs and s’mores around the campfire.
Cooking Around the World
Get your passport ready because we are getting ready for a global cuisine journey! Each day you will choose a place to visit, learn about the culture, play some local games and make a craft. Take your cooking to a new level, then head to the kitchen to make some yummy dishes or desserts. Track your progress in your culinary cookbook.
