Girl Scout Buddies is a short-term monthly self-guided badge program (April 2023 – July 2023) for NEWly registered Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts (incoming Kindergarteners through 3rd-grade girls). Each month this spring and summer – April, May, June, and July – girls will receive a special packet in the mail as they are introduced to the Girl Scout program, earn their first Girl Scout badges, and be placed in a Girl Scout troop in late summer 2023 in preparation for a year of friendship and fun!   View the Girl Scout Buddies flyer here and share it with other Kindergarten through 3rd-grade girls. 

*NOTE:  New Girl Scouts may register at any time throughout the months of April – July and will receive their badge worksheet packet based on the start date of their registration.

Register as a new Girl Scout for $50 (registration is through September 30, 2024). 

• May – Welcome letter & Girl Scout Activity Guide.
• June – Design with Nature badge worksheet (Daisies & Brownies).  Girls may go on a family hike, talk about where animals live or go birdwatching.  Listen to nature.  Look at nature. Explore nature.
• July – Toy Business Design Badge Worksheet (Daisy) or Budding Entrepreneur Badge Worksheet (Brownie) Daisies will have fun getting into the toy business by coming up with an idea for a toy and sharing your idea with a friend or family member, while Brownies will brainstorm an idea that makes life better and share with friends or family about how that idea works!
• August – Girls will be placed in an existing troop or the parent/caregiver may start a troop of their own.
