During the weekends of February 20-21 and 27-28, cookie cravers in the Albuquerque Metro area will be able to order their favorite Girl Scout Cookies through the GrubHub food delivery app or at GrubHub.com and have them delivered directly to their home or office. GrubHub is sweetening the deal with a ‘Buy One, get One Free’ offer through February 28; customers who order any quantity of Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Lemon-Ups, Trefoils, Toffee Tastics or Girl Scout S’mores will receive one free box with their order.
GrubHub Girl Scout Cookie delivery launches February 20 as part of “Girl Scout Cookie Weekend in New Mexico,” as declared by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. This service comes after Girl Scouts announced a new partnership with Amazon Alexa and Google Voice to help customers find the closest cookie booth by simply directing their devices to “Find Girl Scout Cookies near me.”
Several other COVID-safe opportunities exist for customers to stock up on their favorites this weekend, including:
- *NEW* Drive-thru cookie booths can be found in parking lots across the state, to include Albertsons, Cabela’s, Lowe’s and dozens of locally owned small businesses like Flying Star, The Range Café, Tin Can Alley and Explora.
- *NEW* Enable the Girl Scout skill on your Amazon Alexa or Google Voice and use the command, “Ask Girl Scouts to find cookies near me,” to be directed to the closest drive-thru booth in your area.
- Consumers can visit NMGirlScouts.org or text COOKIES to 59618 to purchase from a local troop for direct shipment to their door or donation to Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico or New Mexico Blue Star Moms.
- Use the official Girl Scout Cookie Finder app for free on iOS or Android devices to find socially distant or contact-free cookie booths if they are available in your area.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program will run in New Mexico through March 21, 2021.
