Ready, Resilient, Strong Program Aides

Want to work in the outdoor education field someday or just gain the skills needed for jobs outside of camp and Girl Scouts?  Our leadership programs will get you started on the right path. Join us in Albuquerque or Angel Fire to assist with our Summer Day Camp. Help campers in grades kindergarten - 5th as they sing, create, explore, and more during their week of Girl Scout fun! Program Aides at Barker must go home every night to their families.

Girl Scouts in grades 6th - 9th are invited to volunteer and earn service hours assisting with or leading programs.  Learn about leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution, handling stressful situations, experiential learning, and child development.  These leadership opportunities offer valuable skills and experience, many of which will help prepare you for life in high school. If you have not already, all active Girl Scouts will earn their PA pin by participating in this program.

Program Aides will join us all day at Day Camp from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm during the week that they register for! All weeks have four (4) available spots for Program Aides.
