At the center of the Girl Scout program is a commitment to civic responsibility and engagement. We love teaching girls how to ask thoughtful questions and voice their opinion in respectful ways. Town Hall meetings are a great forum to practice those skills in Girl Scouting.

In her first year as the CEO of New Mexico Trails, Celia Tellez will host members across the council in five convenient Town Halls this fall to discuss our vision for the girls of New Mexico in advance of the Annual Meeting on November 15.

  • Learn more about Celia's homecoming to New Mexico and her leadership journey;

  • Participate in strategic visioning as we imagine what GSNMT can provide the members we serve today and those girls we hope to serve tomorrow;

  • Engage in an open Q&A, hearing from Celia and members of the leadership team about the state of the council and plans for the upcoming year.

Girls can speak with Celia 1:1 after the Town Hall to earn her CEO patch. The event is open to current members of GSNMT and their families. This event is free of charge but registration is required for to ensure property capacity and seating is available.
