Virtual ( JCSA)

A new year is just around the corner, bringing fresh opportunities, exciting adventures, and the chance to become the leader you want to be. Before the calendar turns to 2027, take time to discover what truly matters to you and create a roadmap for the journey ahead.

In this interactive two-part virtual leadership experience, Girl Scouts in grades 4-12 will explore their personal values, identify a meaningful goal for the new year, and create a Courage Plan to help them take the first steps toward achieving it. Through engaging games, creative activities, guided discussions, and thoughtful reflection, girls will discover that courage isn't about being fearless... it's about moving forward with purpose, even when something feels challenging.

Together, we'll create personal leadership compasses, map out the path from dreams to action, learn strategies for overcoming obstacles, and build the confidence to embrace new experiences. Along the way, participants will encourage one another, celebrate individual strengths, and discover that every Girl Scout's journey is unique.

Between sessions, girls will complete their own personal act of courage and return to share how taking even one brave step can lead to meaningful growth. Whether it's trying something new, speaking up, setting a healthy habit, building a new skill, or facing a challenge they've been avoiding, each participant will define what courage means for her own life and carry that momentum into the new year.

This multi-level program is designed for Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors and supports girls as they complete the GSUSA True North Award at their own grade level.

While everyone follows the same leadership journey, each Girl Scout's values, goals, and Courage Plan will reflect her own unique path.

Girls should plan to attend both live Zoom sessions to fully participate in the experience and complete the award requirements. There will be no recording. Awards will be mailed out after the program ends.
