Self Guided
This program invites Girl Scouts to discover the stories, traditions, and leadership of Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander communities connected to the Southwest. Girls will learn how immigrants and families contributed to industries like railroads, agriculture, business, science, and public service while building vibrant communities across the region.
This self-guided program can be completed individually, with a troop, or as a family activity. Girl Scouts will complete a number of activities based on their level to earn the AANHPI Heritage New Mexico Heritage Fun Patch which will be mailed out in June.
