The flames are spreading! Council is excited to welcome our Girl Scouts of Panem to the next installment of our Hunger Games Book & Movie Club as we continue the adventure with Catching Fire. Join us at The Capitol (Council Office) on November 21st from 6-9 PM for an exciting screening experience as Katniss and Peeta return to the arena in this action-packed sequel.
As tensions rise across Panem, participants will dive deeper into the world of rebellion, courage, and survival while enjoying an evening with fellow Girl Scouts and Hunger Games fans. Girls are encouraged to wear their district colors or come dressed in Hunger Games-inspired attire to show their spirit!
Girls do not need to participate in the Book Club to attend the Movie Club, though the movie schedule is designed to complement the books being read throughout the series. While this is part of an ongoing program, registration is required for each movie screening individually, so be sure to sign up for every event you plan to attend.
Book club members who cannot join the in-person screening are welcome to Teleparty with us by watching from home or with their troop! A Discord server is available for chatting with fellow tributes. You must still register, as the registration fee covers the cost of your fun patch and shipping.
