Panem is at war, and the Mockingjay has risen! Council is excited to welcome Girl Scouts of Panem to the next chapter of our Hunger Games Book & Movie Club with a screening of Mockingjay: Part I. Join us at The Capitol (Council Office) on December 19th from 6-9 as Katniss Everdeen becomes the symbol of the rebellion and the fight for freedom begins.
This powerful installment takes participants beyond the arena and into the heart of resistance, where courage, leadership, and unity are put to the ultimate test. Gather fellow Girl Scouts for an evening of action, discussion, and cinematic adventure. Girls are encouraged to wear their district colors or Hunger Games-inspired attire to show their support for the rebellion!
Girls do not need to participate in the Book Club to attend the Movie Club, though the movie schedule is designed to complement the books being read throughout the series. While this is part of an ongoing program, registration is required for each movie screening individually, so be sure to sign up for every event you plan to attend.
Book club members who cannot join the in-person screening are welcome to Teleparty with us by watching from home or with their troop! A Discord server is available for chatting with fellow tributes. You must still register, as the registration fee covers the cost of your fun patch and shipping.
