S'more Stories Please! is a fun, flexible reading program for Girl Scouts of every level - from Daisies to Ambassadors - as well as adult volunteers and families.

This self-guided book club encourages girls to discover the joy of reading while exploring imagination, adventure, nature, leadership, creativity, and more through stories.

Participants can choose books from our recommended reading lists or follow their curiosity and select their own favorites. Audiobooks, graphic novels, read-alouds, magazines, picture books, chapter books, and rereading an old favorite all count!

The complete S'more Stories Please! Self-Guide is available in your myGS account after registration. Inside, participants will find Reading Challenge Paths, Campfire Conversation Questions, Surprise Summer Missions, photo challenges, book recommendations, and other activities to make reading part of their summer adventures.

Girl Scouts can participate individually, with their troop, or as a family - wherever summer takes them. There are no required reading logs, book minimums, or assignments to complete. Read a little or a lot and make the experience your own.

And there's still time to participate! The registration deadline has been extended, giving more Girl Scouts and families a chance to join the reading adventure before this summer officially ends.

Earlier this summer, Girl Scouts were invited to help create the official program fun patch through our S'more Stories Please! Fun Patch Design Contest. The winning design was created by Girl Scout Yosi from Troop 40630 in Southeast Florida! Her artwork will become the official program patch and will be mailed to registered participants in late September.

Whether you're reading under the stars, listening to an audiobook on a road trip, visiting your local library, or curling up at home with a favorite story, every book is a new trail to explore and there's always room for s'more stories.
