Family Heroes is a 1-hour virtual Girl Scouts program designed to recognize, celebrate, and thank the families who support Girl Scouts in countless ways. From helping with troop meetings and product sales to driving to field trips, completing trainings, offering donations, and providing encouragement, family members play a vital role in the Girl Scout experience.
During this interactive program, Girl Scouts and their families will participate in engaging activities that highlight teamwork, creativity, and gratitude. Girls will reflect on how their families contribute to their Girl Scout journey, create meaningful expressions of appreciation, and celebrate the many ways support shows up both big and small.
Family Heroes is part of GSNMT's Virtual Troop Meeting series and is open to registered Girl Scouts and troops. While troops may attend together, each Girl Scout must be individually registered to receive the program materials and fun patch. The $5 registration fee includes access to the live virtual program, a commemorative fun patch with shipping included, and a self-guided activity packet with badge tie-ins that troops can use after the program. It's a ready-made meeting option during busy seasons-especially cookie season-when leaders and families appreciate a meaningful program without the extra planning.
