In Person - ABQ
Arctic Explorers Lab is designed for Girl Scouts who love to ask questions, test ideas, and explore the science behind winter. Over three days, campers investigate snow and ice through handson experiments, engineer coldweather shelters, explore animal adaptations, and complete STEMbased challenges inspired by Arctic exploration.
Girls will build mini igloos, investigate insulation materials, create frostpattern art using chemistry, experiment with frozen bubbles, and map migration routes using simple navigation tools. Outdoor challenges, science stations, engineering tasks, and themed activities encourage curiosity, problemsolving, and teamwork. The camp concludes with the Arctic Challenge Finale, where Girl Scouts apply everything they've learned.
This camp offers a fresh, STEMcentered winter experience perfect for Girl Scouts who want something new, exciting, and sciencepowered.
All adults must be current members and have a current BGC.
