Mujeres Que Inspiran is a self-guided Women's History Month Celebration Patch program designed for Girl Scouts of all levels. This experience invites girls to explore leadership, art, advocacy, heritage, and community through the stories of New Mexico women who have influenced our state across generations.

Girls meet leaders such as Nina Otero-Warren, whose advocacy for education and bilingual literacy transformed opportunities for New Mexicans, and Pablita Velarde, a groundbreaking Pueblo artist whose work preserved cultural stories through vivid earth-tone paintings. Their legacies show Girl Scouts that leadership can look like using your voice, preserving culture, uplifting community, or creating change through courage and creativity.

Through age-appropriate activities, reflection, creative expression, and meaningful conversations, Girl Scouts explore what leadership looks like in their own lives while honoring the impact of New Mexico women in education, art, activism, and community building. Girls may participate individually, with family, or with their troop.
