Not every Girl Scout gathering has to be busy to be meaningful. Parallel Playtime is a relaxed afternoon designed for Girl Scouts who simply want to create alongside others.
Whether you're crocheting, painting, building with LEGO bricks, journaling, coloring, working on a badge, or finishing a project that's been waiting at home, you're invited to bring it with you.
Throughout the afternoon, you'll find cozy spaces to work at your own pace, a family-friendly movie playing in the background, a quiet corner for reading or recharging, and simple art activities available whenever inspiration strikes. There are no deadlines, competitions, or expectations - just a welcoming place to spend time together.
Sometimes friendship grows through conversation, and sometimes it grows in comfortable silence while everyone is focused on creating something they love. Girl Scouts of all ages are welcome to work independently, share ideas, encourage one another, or simply enjoy the peaceful company of fellow makers.
Come as you are, bring whatever you're creating, and leave with a project that's a little closer to finished... and a heart that's a little fuller.
