Bundle up and head to the mountains for a winter experience where every snowy trail, towering pine, and star-filled sky becomes part of your adventure. As nature slows down for the season, Girl Scouts will discover that winter is full of life, wonder, and opportunities to grow.
Our younger campers (Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors) and their guardians will become nature detectives during Wild Wonder, exploring the hidden world of winter through hands-on science, creative art, outdoor exploration, and classic camp traditions.
Girl Scouts will investigate real owl pellets, create nature-inspired masterpieces, learn about wildlife adaptations, and discover how animals survive the coldest months of the year.
As the sun sets, camp comes alive with songs around the fire, friendly team challenges, s'mores, and an evening adventure featuring nocturnal animals, owl calls, and stargazing beneath New Mexico's incredible winter sky. Girl Scouts will spend the night together in Hoffman Hall.
Throughout their time, Girl Scouts will reflect on how nature changes with every season... and how they are growing too. Every activity encourages curiosity, confidence, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors while creating friendships and memories that will last long after the snow has melted.
The weekend concludes with a special closing reflection and patch ceremony as Girl Scouts celebrate everything they've discovered about the wild... and about themselves.
