The National Park Service and Girl Scouts of the United States of America have partnered to create the Girl Scout Ranger Program. Girl Scouts are invited to participate in a variety of existing, organized educational or service projects at national park sites, or design their own experience or project to align with Journey work, badge activities, or a Take Action or Highest Award project.

Comcast is participating in the federal government’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and recently introduced two new ACP-focused offers giving consumers new choices to take full advantage of the up to $30/month ($75/month on Tribal lands) credit.

Sandia Peak Tramway has over 100 education-related groups visiting every year from New Mexico and other states! They also offer a Field Trip Guide that will help you plan for your group, make the reservation, and feel prepared when you bring your students. The guide also includes a history of the tram and Sandia Mountains, a scavenger hunt, and an engaging questionnaire for the students. Click here to request the group rate for groups of 20 or more. Started in Santa Fe, now based in Cerillos, My Little Horse Listener began with the idea that miniature horses have more to offer this world than we may think we know.

Groups, families, and individuals are invited to visit to spend time and connect with the miniature equines. They offer trust-based activities that strengthen and reinforce the necessary skills for building relationships.

The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center offers usage of its facilities and specialized programs to troops, primarily during the summer months. You can choose from a guided or self-guided program.

For guided programs, their educators will design a program based on the ages and other information you provide them about your group. When booking, let them know if you have any particular topics of interest, badges you're trying to earn, or preferences for your group so they can customize your program to best suit your participants!

The museum will provide materials, volunteers to help support your troop during their visit, and a fun patch (you will need to purchase the badge your troop earns on their own).

This is a unique opportunity for your troop to explore the Santa Fe Art Museum.

"You Are Not Your Circumstance: Overcoming Adversity Through Positive Coping Mechanisms" was founded in 2017 by KRQE Meteorologist Liz Fellinger after she learned how to manage living with significant adversity in the form of chronic illnesses. She has since worked with hundreds of youth all over the world teaching positive coping mechanisms in fun and interactive ways and spreading the message that our adversities do not define us as people.

The program is done through three facets.

School Curriculum: Teaching positive coping mechanisms and strategies for using them.
Soccer clinics: Building your team (support group) to overcome obstacles and accomplish goals.
Martial Arts Clinics: Managing big emotions through big movements.

These programs have been created with the help of licensed child therapists and school guidance counselors. The programs can be adapted to a group's age, interest, and ability levels.
